Tegloma International Mini-Convention

Tegloma Federation Inc. A United States registered Sierra Leone nonprofit comprising 24 autonomous chapter organizations in USA, Canada, Sierra Leone, United Kingdom and The Gambia will be holding their annual  International convention next weekend in Saint Louis, Missouri in Midwest USA, hosted by Tegloma Missouri Chapter led by Chief Gerald Brewah

Tegloma Missouri is one of the newest chapters in the federation, only older than Gambia, but through commitment and sheer determination  they volunteered last year to host an event of this magnitude.

As this is election year in Tegloma, candidates wishing to run for positions in the federation administration must make their declaration in the mini-convention. This is the second and final term of Alfred Jamiru the current chairman of Tegloma International and many members of his executive.There are already a number of candidates jostling to replace Jamiru later in the year when the federation elections will be conducted in Minneapolis, Minnesota, one of the coldest states in mainland USA,

Next week's mini-convention will start on Friday May 24, 2013 and run through May 26, Memorial Day weekend. On Monday May 27, Memorial Day, delegates are expected to fly or drive back to their home states and countries.

The Convention will start on Friday May 24 at 4.00pm Missouri Time with the meeting of the Board of Directors of Tegloma Federation. The meeting will be chaired by Tegloma International Board Chairman Abu Bhonapha and will be held the Timothy Lutheran Church Hall, 6704 Flyer Avenue, St. Louis MO 63139. The Board Meeting will be followed by a social night on the same Friday at the same venue, TimothyLutheran Church Hall.

The main Mini-Convention Meeting will be held on Saturday May 25th at the Timothy Lutheran Church Hall. The convention meeting will start at 9.00am and will be chaired by the Federation Administration Chairman Alfred Jamiru.

 Later Saturday Night there will be a fundraising convention ball at The Lodge Hotel and Banquets, 3551 Pennridge Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044.

On Sunday May 26, there will be a free superb federation picnic at Forest Park Saint Louis that will start from 12.00pm until dusk. The Picnic will officially end the convention.

All the hotel prices are at discount and delegates should mention Tegloma when making reservations to get the discount prices.

Tegloma Missouri President Gerald Brewah is appealing to delegates to send their flight itineraries to the chapter for arrangements to be picked up at the airport. Delegates who want to rent cars at the airport are encouraged to do so.
